New General Manager – Thomas Morgan Joins The LNM Team

Thomas Morgan General Manager of La Nuova MusicaLa Nuova Musica (LNM) has appointed Thomas Morgan as its new General Manager.  Thomas joins from the internationally renowned Wigmore Hall where he was part of the leadership team that has overseen its unprecedented growth and expansion over the last ten years.  Thomas will take up the position in January 2018.

At Wigmore Hall, Thomas has worked in artistic planning, operational management, fundraising and publications.  He started his career at St. John’s Smith Square after studying at the Royal Northern College of Music and Leeds University.  Thomas was Head Chorister at Winchester Cathedral.  He has lived and worked in France and Japan and is married with two boys.

On his appointment, Thomas Morgan said:

David Bates, Artistic Director said: ‘I’m so delighted that Thomas will be joining La Nuova Musica – working along side me and my Board of Trustees in the coming years to develop all aspect of our work. Thomas will bring with him a wealth of expertise to ensure that our ambitious artistic programme might be realized.’

We’re excited what Thomas’s unique experience at Wigmore Hall can do for us. There is enormous opportunity for La Nuova Musica that lies ahead”.
